Committed to Winnsboro!

I have lived in Winnsboro since 1984 and this has been my home. I didn't leave and come back, I have lived here the vast majority of my life.

My family came here in 1961 and my grandfather and his brother opened the Murley Medical Surgical Clinic on East Coke Road and it remained in operation until Dr. David retired.

I own and operate a business here in Winnsboro that helps support the local economy, provide jobs, and sales tax revenue.

My business regularly donates to LOCAL causes and organizations, helping to support our youth.

I have served as a Texas Peace Officer since 2006 and from 2009 - 2013 I was a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Winnsboro providing additional police services at no additional cost to the City.

I have been involved in local government since 2005 and am familiar with government accounting, and budgeting.

I am well versed in the Texas Local Government Code that dictates how Cities are to be operated.

I am dedicated to this city as a whole. Not to any special interest group. I have no personal or private agendas, I do not attend secret meetings. I believe that government should be open, transparent, and ACCOUNTABLE to the citizens.

I believe in the potential of Winnsboro. I believe in our future together as a community. I believe in government of the people, by the people, and FOR the people.

My dedication has not changed to this town. I love Winnsboro and my roots run deep here.
